Mandatory New Lease Template for Toronto Ontario Landlords and Tenants

It’s Monday April 30^th 2018 and starting today, any new lease agreement must use the new Ontario Standard Lease template introduced and provided by the Ontario Government. 

If you are a landlord in Ontario, you must start using this new lease template. If you are a tenant and about to start a new tenancy, ensure that the lease you are about to sign is the new Ontario Standard Lease template.
