If you own a home in Toronto don’t forget to make your new for 2023 Vacant Home Tax Declaration. The due date is February 2nd 2023. I just did mine and it took less than 30 seconds to complete. Make sure you have your tax bill with you as you will need the Assessment Roll Number and your Customer Roll number.

Vacant Home Tax
All residential property owners in Toronto will be required to submit a declaration of their property’s occupancy status for the previous year. The deadline to declare a property’s 2022 occupancy status is February 2, 2023. The online declaration portal will open in mid-December 2022.
