Engagement | Eunji & Charles

Eunji and Charles were a little nervous when we started the session at the University of Toronto where they met and even stated that they didn’t realize how “hard” it would be. But it didn’t take too long before they were comfortable and having fun.

This is main reason why I include an engagement session with my wedding day coverage. It’s for you to gain experience and become comfortable being in front of the camera and working directly with me. This 1-2 hours and some times more of “hanging out me” while I take pictures becomes invaluable during the wedding when things are hectic, busy and rushed. When it’s time for the “formal portraits” at your wedding it’s almost second nature and you have so much more fun which translates into awesome wedding photos.

As I mentioned, we met up in front of Knox College at the University of Toronto where Eunji and Charles first met each other in Human Biology, HMB265H (how’s that for detail). From there we headed up to Toronto’s trendy Yorkville for some evening shooting.

Through common friends they hung out a lot, though Charles was rather coy at first but that was his courting strategy. As time passed they went from exchanging lecture notes to having dinner/movie nights and found themselves inseparable.

Seven years later after a Valentines day dinner they found themselves in a karaoke bar. Charles was belting out Elvis Presley’s (I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You and then popped the question.
