That’s the first few lyrics from “I’m Gonna Be (500)” by the Proclaimers and is also the song that pops into my head when I think of Elizabeth and Heath! Why you ask? Well Heath is from New Zealand and came all the way to Canada to be with Elizabeth and now they’re getting married in Toronto!
They first met in 2005 while Elizabeth was there vacationing in Wellington. Nine months after Elizabeth returned to Toronto he followed his heart to be with her. Living in Toronto was short lived for the two as they later moved to London England. Fulfilling their lust for travel they explored mainland Europe and even Egypt. So what do you do when you’re in Paris with the love of your life and at the top of the Eiffel tower? Well duh, you pop the question!
The traveling love birds will be tying the proverbial knot in a local church and the festivities will be taking place at the Old Mill. Check out their engagement photos and let me know what you think in the comment section at the bottom!
