It’s amazing how something as simple as a bus ride can change your life forever. For Wendy and Calvin a simple bus ride has brought them friendship, love and happiness, the perfect ingredients for a marriage. Originally from Toronto and Markham Ontario, the two young professionals went to Carlton University and even lived in the same apartment building. This led to the both of them taking the same bus to church where they eventually connected and fell in love.
Even though their wedding will be in Markham Ontario, they asked me to shoot their engagement session in Ottawa since that is where they met and currently live and work. The session actually started out in Hull Quebec at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. We then went to the actual bus stop where they met and with a wardrobe change we moved onto downtown Ottawa for some evening shots.
Wendy and Calvin, thanks for inviting me over to Ottawa, I had a great time and look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
Sometimes it’s hard to be serious when you are having fun!
